about

Like the mythical phoenix, music can swell and fall, rise and dip, burn brightly and then turn dark and ashen before the next crescendo brings the melody back anew.

This is a much-expanded and refined new version of this song, the original version of which I first recorded way back in 2007 (in other words, "The Phoenix" has risen from the ashes).

Featuring:
• Native American style drone flute in D, redwood, made by Geoffrey Ellis.
• VibeDrum in D minor.
• Xaphoon (a.k.a. "Pocket Sax").
• Maraca.
• Drum.
